- Aircon not turning on at all. Nothing happens when you press the remote: no beep, no light, no response, but the breaker is on.
- A blinking light or an error code on the indoor unit that comes back after a reset instead of clearing.
- The unit switches itself off after a few minutes and will not restart until power is cut.

- The unit misreads the temperature, so it cools too much or stops too early (a sensor or NTC circuit fault).

When PCB repair may not be enough
Not every board can be saved, and we say so before you spend money on it.
- A badly burnt board, cracked tracks or a failed main chip usually means a replacement board.
- Replacement boards are easy to get for some brands and models and hard for others.
- The real cause can sit outside the board: an unstable power supply, wiring, a failing compressor or a sensor.
- If replacing costs less in the end than repairing, we recommend the replacement.
Do not keep resetting the unit, and do not open the board yourself. It carries live current, and handling it can add damage.
